Tyrell Watts

IPT Certified Basketball Skills Trainer & Youth Mentor

My name is Tyrell Watts, and I’m thrilled to be joining the training team here at the I’m Possible Skill Lab!

Originally from Bunker Hill, West Virginia, I attended Marshall University before relocating to Fuquay-Varina in 2020—a move that marked the beginning of my journey as both a father and a basketball trainer. I began by offering free lessons on local outdoor courts, building relationships within the community and giving families a chance to see my approach firsthand. It was all about creating trust, providing value, and showing up consistently.

After three years of building a strong clientele and a solid foundation, I’m excited to say I’ve finally found a home where I can grow my training practice and help your child develop not just as a basketball player, but as a person. I’ve been around the game since I was six years old, gaining experience as both a player and a coach across AAU and school basketball programs.

I spent two years at Holly Springs High School as the Head Coach of the JV Women’s Team and Assistant Coach for the Varsity squad. Currently, I serve as a Head Coach for Carolina United, continuing my mission to guide and mentor young athletes.

When it comes to I’m Possible Training and working with Anthony Porter, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of a program that provides a safe, empowering environment for kids to grow. I’m excited for what’s ahead and look forward to working with you and your athlete!
